At After Echo, we’re building more than technology — we’re building a new way to preserve human presence. Our core team brings decades of experience across product innovation, enterprise technology, and behavioral insight. We’re supported by the Echo Ethics Committee, a group of clinical psychologists, grief professionals, and cognitive health experts who help ensure our platform is emotionally safe, psychologically sound, and ethically grounded from the very beginning.

Alongside them is a dedicated team of ethical AI developers, including two founders of previous AI ventures, with over 20 years of combined experience designing emotionally intelligent systems. Together, we’re focused on creating a platform that captures a person’s personality — not just their voice, but their values, humor, and way of thinking — so they can continue to interact with the people they love. After Echo is about continuity, connection, and legacy — delivered with care, and built for the long term.

How did it all start?

The idea for After Echo began with personal loss. Following a serious health scare and the passing of a close family member, our founder, T.R. Griffith, was struck by how much goes unsaid — and how quickly even vivid memories begin to fade. As a seasoned technology leader with deep ties to the funeral services industry, he recognized a gap that only meaningful technology could fill. After Echo was born from that moment: a way to help people be remembered the way they want to be remembered — and to give their loved ones something more than silence.
